Hi—we’re Jack & Nancy. Since 2016, One Third Asian House has been our family’s kitchen away from home here in Saint Johns.

We keep things warm, clear, and inclusive. If you’re new to Asian food, we’ll guide you—suggesting favorites, explaining sauces, and adjusting spice to your comfort. If you’re gluten-free or managing allergies, please tell us at the start. We mark your ticket, prep with clean utensils and surfaces, and point out safe choices to reduce cross-contact. The goal is simple: you can relax and eat with confidence.

What can I say, we love our sushi. Our family has dined at many different sushi restaurants, yet we still have to come across one as good as 1/3 Asian. The owners and the staff are extremely pleasant, and hospitable. We recently traveled to Japan, where we tasted authentic sushi. 1/3 Asian is the only sushi restaurant that has matched the Japan sushi experience. I highly recommend 1/3 Asian to my friends, and family or anyone that loves sushi.

We really like this place. We usually come every Sunday after church. My wife loves sushi and I do well with sushi. I will tell you place isn’t perfect but it’s about as close as you can get the perfect without being perfect. We have tried a few different things and have always been very satisfied with our choices. The service is incredibly great. The friendliness of the staff makes it the perfect place to come after church on a Sunday. The prices are in line with every other place that’s so sushi.

Lettuce wraps are the best. Perfectly fried sweet and sour and general Tso chicken. Not too much batter. The owner always keeps the sake coming and the brings the set up for sake bombs.
My wife loves the Phad Thai and fillet hibachi. The banana roll is different and amazing. Philly cheese egg roll is really good. Grilled broccoli is perfect. Pineapple fried rice has a bunch of pineapple.
When you eat in they give you these wontons that are sweet as an appetizer, those are worth the trip alone.
